“There are no active weather systems that can result in rainfall activity for Indore and nearby areas. Thus weather will be dry for next few days. There may be isolated drizzle due to local clouds in the evening hours but will not be major,” said JP Vishwakarma, meteorologist from IMD Bhopal circle.
The weatherman also stated that Indore will not have any significant impact of the cyclone Biparjoy which has hit the coastal areas of
Maharashtra and Gujarat. “The wind speed might increase during the evening hours at around 30 to 35km per hour else there is no major impact of Biparjoy in Indore,” added Vishwakarma.
The Indoreans have started feeling the heat as the roads are witnessing lesser traffic during the peak hours from 12 noon to 3pm while the traffic increases during the morning and evening hours.
In the forecast for the state capital, meteorological officials said, there would be partly cloudy sky with thunder in parts of the city. Day and night temperature will be 41 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively while average wind speed will be 18 kmph.
