Indore: The Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL) finalised fare structure for Indore Metro's Super Priority Corridor, paving the way for commencement of revenue operations. The fare for the five-station stretch between Gandhi Nagar and Super Corridor-03 will range from Rs 20 to Rs 30.
The Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system was configured, and operations are expected to begin shortly after testing is complete.

Metro operations will run from 8:00am to 8:00pm at 30-minute intervals, covering 25 trips in each direction daily. In total, 50 round trips will be operated per day. The broader Yellow Line network will eventually cover 28 stations with fare slabs ranging from Rs 20 to Rs 80, depending on travel zones.
In a statement issued late on Sunday, MPMRCL said that in the initial phase, commuters will have access to QR-based ticketing, while other digital ticketing methods will be introduced gradually in a phased manner. To encourage public adoption, MPMRCL will launch a promotional discount scheme for the first three months. During the first week, QR tickets will be free. The second week will offer a 75 per cent discount, followed by 50 per cent in the third week, and a 25 per cent discount up to the third month. MPMRCL is in talks with AICTSL to integrate bus services to facilitate last-mile connectivity for metro commuters. A proposed route from Bada Ganpati to Indore Airport Terminal, via Super Corridor and up to Luvkush Square/ISBT, is under consideration.
