Jaipur: The state govt transferred 53 IAS officials, 24 IPS officers, and 34 IFS officials past midnight Friday. The six IAS officers, who were placed under awaiting posting orders (APO) after the scrapping of nine districts, were given new postings in the fresh order. Earlier, they were in-charge collectors of six districts. In addition, four district collectors were transferred/posted. Poonam, who was the Secretary to the Sanskrit Education Department, was appointed the divisional commissioner of Jaipur. Arvind Kumar Poswal, who was the district magistrate and collector of Udaipur, was made the joint secretary to the Chief Minister's Office (CMO). On the other hand, Namit Mehta, who was the District Magistrate and collector of Bhilwara, was transferred to Udaipur in the same post. Jasmeet Singh Sandhu, who was the district magistrate and collector of Salumber, was transferred to Bhilwara on the same post. Avdhesh Meena was made the collector of Salumber.
Meanwhile, A. T. Pednekar, who was Secretary to the rural development department, was transferred to the tribal area development Department in the same post. Bhanu Prakash Yeturu was transferred to the Higher and Technical Education department as the secretary, and P. Ramesh was sent to the labour department as the secretary. TNN
