KN Titans beat Golden Sporting, win cricket match by six runs

Kanpur: Randheer Singh’s fine performance with bat and ball (54 runs and 3 wickets) helped KN Titans beat Golden Sporting by 6 runs in a thrilling semi final by 6 runs and sailed into the final of KC Awasthi memorial cricket tournament being played here at HAL ground on Monday. KN Titans batting first posted a total of 197 runs in 35 overs. Randheer Singh and Yashveer Singh were main scorers and they contributed 54 and unbeaten 55 runs respectively. Shivam Shukla picked 2 wickets for 45 runs. Golden Sporting in reply missed the winning target by just 6 runs as their innings finished on 191 runs. Piyush Nath and Aditya Pathak both chipped 44 runs each.
