Child electrocuted at Kolhapur construction site

Kolhapur: Three-year-old Arvind Maurya was electrocuted at a construction site near the Jayprabha Studio, in the Mangalwar Peth area of Kolhapur city, on Tuesday evening.
Arvind's parents, both construction workers at the site, had left their son sleeping in a room while they worked on one of the upper floors. When the child woke up, he stepped out of the room and came in contact with a live wire.
Arvind's father, Sanjay Maurya, and other relatives took him to the CPR Hospital for treatment, but he was declared brought dead. The incident has been reported at the CPR police station.
