But I am ready to comply with the investigating agencies," Roy said. Roy was earlier questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) at its New Delhi office. Her former election agent Somnath Dutta was also arrested by CBI earlier.
In his purported letter to CBI Sudipta Sen, accused in the case, claimed that Satabdi Roy had been the brand ambassador of the Saradha group companies. In his email communication with another Saradha accused Manoranjana Singh, he has referred to Roy for an "appraisal" of his companies. Last year, while talking to reporters outside the Suri court, Saradha boss Sudipta Sen claimed that he used to pay Rs 2 lakh per month to Roy while she was a brand ambassador of his company.
