Woman on evening walk shot dead

A gang of five youths shot dead a 24-year-old woman at Halishahar in North 24-Parganas on Monday evening.
Soma Das had gone for an evening walk at a local park when the youths, on three motorcycles, shot her. Soma had married Prasanta, a daily wage-earner, some years back.
She moved out of her in-laws' home few months back due to some problems. Police have started an investigation.Prasanta is missing.
