Karipur Airport gets new airport director

KOZHIKODE: J T Radhakrishna took charge as the new director of the Karipur Airport on Tuesday, an official release issued here said.
Prior to his new assignment, he had served as director of Mangalore International Airport from 2012 onwards.
Radhakrishna had worked in New Delhi, Chennai and Coimbatore airports and executed various projects including Air Traffic Control (ATC) building at Chennai airport, modification of terminal building at Coimbatore airport, construction of new terminal building, apron and runway at Mangalore airport.
He had worked as senior manager for runway projects at Karipur Airport during 1998- 2004.
Radhakrishna is a native of Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh. He completed his BTech from JNTU College of Engineering, Anantapur and International Aviation Professional from ICAO- ACI, Montreal, Canada.
