Lucknow: Twelve volunteers from Uttar Pradesh, part of the MYBharat scheme, have been invited to attend the Republic Day parade in New Delhi on Jan 26.
The selected volunteers, Neelank Rao, Yazdaan Butool, Prashant, Shivani Chaudhary, Vivek, Riya Gautam, Nitish Kumar, Anshu Upadhyay, Alok Patel, Hujaifa Parveen, Yashi Srivastava, and Adarsh Pandey, will join around 10,000 invitees from across the country. These invitees represent 31 distinct categories, including disaster relief workers, notable sarpanches, PM YASASVI achievers, outstanding self-help group members, ASHA and Anganwadi workers, start-up founders, and Mann Ki Baat participants. This diverse representation seeks to enhance the spirit of ‘Jan Bhagidari' in significant national events.
MYBharat invites citizens aged 15 to 29 to register on its portal for experiential learning opportunities through collaborations with public and private sector organisations, as well as academic institutions. Participants can work with enterprises, non-profits, and educational establishments to undertake voluntary social initiatives while gaining valuable practical experience.
