LUCKNOW: As fur babies, dressed in colourful and fancy attires, walked the ramp with grace during a pets' day out at a city mall they left the audience head-over-heels for them. About 54 pets, including dogs, cats, and a parrot, participated in the rampwalk during the event.
The pet parents were seen playing with their buddies and pampering them throughout the day.
While the dogs were giving a high five, dancing and jumping to show their talents during the walk, the cats chose to rest on the shoulders of their parents. Mittho, the parrot, who could call his parents and speak his name, gained the spotlight.
Trishna Vijayan (34), who accompanied her Persian cat Smokey, said that after she lost a family member during Covid-19 she and her son Sahil adopted her. "Our life revolves around Smokey. This time, I have dressed him with a bow and a goggle we bought online," said Vijayan.
Amayra Sharma (16), who owns seven golden retrievers, accompanied her eldest furry baby Stella. She had dressed Stella in a pink skirt, necklace and headgear. "I groom my babies at home and I love shopping for them," said Sharma.
Male dogs were also dressed in style while Oreo, a pug, was donning a hat, cravat and t-shirt.
Dogs Stella, Dora and Maggie, and Cat Stella were awarded as the prettiest females. Dogs Jimmy and Coco and cats Bagira and Smokey remained the handsome male. Among the most active pets were Breezer, Oreo, Mico and Bella. Cats Snowbell and Cheril and dogs Tuntun, Newton, and Scruby were the best-dressed pets. Mittho, the parrot, and dogs Radha, Princess and Roger were given a special mention while Momo and Pathan were awarded for their matching outfits with their pet parents.
