Dist admin to honour 3 NSPS athletes

Ludhiana: The district administration is going to honour three athletes of Nankana Sahib Public School Gill Park for getting selected for national level athletic meet of CBSE. They will be honoured by district administration at the district level function of Republic Day.
Three athletes of the school, Karanveer Singh , Karandeep Singh Sidhu and Parineeta Saroha, have been selected for the national athletic meet of CBSE.In the recently held CBSE Cluster- XVIII athletic meet at Innocent Heart Public School, Jalandhar, Karanveer Singh of 10 got gold medal in 1,500 meter race and Karandeep Singh Sidhu of the same class got silver in 400 meter race of U-17 Boys. In 4x100 meter Relay, Jasnoor Singh of 10 and Pawan Kheepal of XI Arts got silver medal. Parineeta of XI Arts got silver in 1500 meter race of U-19 girls.
Appreciating their achievement, the school Principal Harmeet Kaur Waraich said,"This is an outcome of persistent hardwork and practice of players under the guidance of their sports teachers.”
