PATIALA: The
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) lifted a 10-day long dharna in front of the minister's residence demanding dismissal of Cabinet Minister Sadhu Singh Dharamsot, who was embroiled in a multi-crore scam in the post-matric scholarship scheme for Dalit students, with a warning of siege of the CM's residence.
Addressing the dharna here on Friday, senior party leader and MLA from Talwandi Sabo Prof.
Baljinder Kaur announced that if CM Amarinder Singh did not file a case within 20 days dismissing his corrupt and blue-eyed minister Sadhu Singh Dharamsot, the Aam Aadmi Party would mobilize students all over Punjab especially students from Dalit households and besiege Raja's farmhouse at Siswan.
Prof. Baljinder Kaur said that this decision was taken during the state level meeting of AAP. Prof. Baljinder Kaur said that the stubbornness with which Raja Amarinder is bent upon to give clean chit to Sadhu Singh Dharamsot and his coterie clearly indicates that part of the loot money of the scholarships meant for Dalit students reached Siswan Farm House and Moti Mahal.
Prof. Baljinder Kaur demanded that the entire scam be investigated by the CBI under the supervision of the sitting judges of the High Court.
Prof. Baljinder Kaur along with Leader of Opposition
