Temporary changes in train services due to bridge work

Madurai: Southern Railway has announced changes in the pattern of train services in view of a line block for regirdering of bridge No. 74 between Neyyanttinkara and Parassala. According to a statement, train No. 16127 Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur Express on March 28 will be short-terminated at Nagercoil Town. The train will be partially cancelled between Nagercoil Town and Guruvayur.
Train No. 16128 Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore Express leaving Guruvayur on March 29 will be partially cancelled between Guruvayur and Nagercoil Town. The train will originate from Nagercoil Town.
Train No. 16649 Mangaluru Central – Kanyakumari Parasuram Express on March 28 and train No. 16650 Kanyakumari – Mangaluru Central Parasuram Express on March 29 will be partially cancelled between Kanyakumari and Thiruvananthapuram Central.
Train No. 16729 Madurai – Punalur Express on March 28 will be rescheduled to leave Madurai at 11.50pm.
