MANGALORE: Two persons have fallen prey to KSRTC buses in separate accidents reported from Surathkal and Puttur rural police station limits in the district on Sunday.
A KSRTC bus collided against a motorcycle at Honnakatte in Kulai village of Mangalore taluk. As a result Ramesh Bhat, rider of the said motorcycle and his wife Sujatha, riding pillion sustained serious injuries.

Ramesh Bhat who was admitted to a private hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment.
Likewise, another KSRTC bus driven by Rajappa Havanoor collided against Kinnanna Rai (70), resident of Manippady Kedambady village in Puttur taluk. Rai, a pedestrian, who sustained serious injuries died on the spot. The incident took place at Kavu Shivapete in Madnur village Puttur taluk. Separate cases of fatal accidents have been registered in Surathkal and Puttur rural police stations in this regard.
