Mumbai: With daily Covid detections rising by 50% in 24 hours in the state and 33% in Mumbai, which saw over 10,000 new cases on Tuesday, it is likely a decision on imposing greater curbs in Maharashtra will be taken at a meeting chaired by deputy CM Ajit Pawar on Wednesday along with public health minister Rajesh Tope and senior bureaucrats to review the situation.
