For the past three days, over 12,000 students from various colleges attended the Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute’s (VJTI) annual festival, Pratibimb, an extravaganza powered by the Times of India.

Mumbai: For the past three days, over 12,000 students from various colleges attended the Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute’s (VJTI) annual festival, Pratibimb, an extravaganza powered by the Times of India.
Held between December 22 and 24, the festival had kicked off with 11 departments of the institute fighting it out at various song, drama and dance contests. Day one of the event began with a group dance judged by actors Sharad Malhotra and Urvashi Sharma. The other highlight of the day was the mono acting competition judged by actors Gulshan Pandey and Anirudh Dave.
The campus was abuzz on the second day of the fest with popular events like solo and duet dance, an instrumental music contest, fresh face and symphony. On day three, the last day, the college was thronged with students who came to see Bollywood singer Aditi Singh Sharma along with her band performing tracks from movies like Roy and Two States.
The festival’s flagship event was “Mumbai’s Got Talent”, a hunt that allowed participants showcase their talent ranging from singing, dancing, stand-up comedy etc. The contest was judged by the starcast of the movie – Chalk and Duster – Juhi Chawla, Divya Dutta and Shabana Azmi. Organisers said that the event was a crowd puller and added that the crowd enjoyed the event to the hilt.
