Former MLC Patel Shivaram passes away

Former MLC Patel Shivaram passes away
Hassan: Former legislative council member Patel Shivaram passed away at his house in the Housing Board of Hassan city on Thursday. Shivaram was suffering from health issues for several days.
Shivaram served as a legislative council member from 2010 to 2016 and was a close associate of former PM HD Deve Gowda and his family. He served as the chairman and director of Hassan District Central Cooperative Bank and as a director of the Hassan Milk Union. Shivaram was an influential JD(S) leader in Hassan and was associated with Gowda for nearly four decades. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, and a son.
Gowda paid his last respects to the departed soul and also recollected his association with the late legislator. MP Shreyas Patel, MLA KM Shivalingegowda, and others paid their last respects.
