Nagpur/Amravati: Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday said if voted to power, the INDI alliance will create “crores of lakhpatis” through various welfare schemes. Addressing a packed rally at Paratwada (Amravati), he accused PM Narendra Modi of catering to “needs of 25 billionaires” at the cost of the common man. Gandhi also said his party will establish a commission to grant loan waivers to farmers rather than corporates.

The creation of ‘crores of lakhpatis’ will happen through a new law, which will guarantee paid apprenticeship to diploma holders and graduates, said Gandhi, adding Congress has planned a slew of ‘revolutionary’ schemes for women, youths, and farmers.
