Arunish Chawla shifted to urban development department

PATNA: Four IAS officers were transferred and assigned to new postings, according to the notification issued by the general administration department on Thursday.
Additional chief secretary of planning and development department, Arunish Chawla, has been shifted to urban development and housing department (UDHD) in the same capacity with additional charge of managing director of Patna Metro Rail Corporation Limited (PMRC).
Anand Kishor, chairman of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), will be relieved from his additional duty as principal secretary of UDHD and MD of Patna PMRC.
Dharmendra Singh, MD of Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited and Bihar State Housing Board-cuminvestigation commissioner of general administration department, will also hold the additional charge of secretary, mines and geology department.
The chief executive officer of Patna Smart City Limited-cum-commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation, Animesh Kumar Parashar, will remain in additional charge of special secretary, UDHD, till further orders.
