13 films to be shown in Surat international short film fest

SURAT: Film lovers would be able to view 13 selected short films from among the 109 entries to the Third Annual International Short Film Festival to be held in the city on June 9.
The festival is being organized by Academy of Cultural Activities and Art Institute.
Love at First Sight directed by Mark Plane, The Last Paradise of Anil Krishna; The roommate of Rumi Baria; Dear Friend of Mausami Raina; Nadi Ki Kahani Bundo Ki Jubani of Arjun Singh Mehta;, Happen (animation) of P Pravin; Baby Box of Jayprakash P Karat, Zumki of Gulshan Pandey and Kajal Nishad will be screened at the festival.
Contentious made by Vikas Joshi, Wake up by Bhavna Vakil, Our Surat by Shalin Shelat and Chayya by Manas Dalal would also be shown. These films are bracketed under regional category
Local social workers would also be felicitated at the festival. A trailer on upcoming documentary on Sanjeev Kumar will also be shown.
