HCL chairman Shiv Nadar asks students to learn Hindi

TRICHY: HCL founder and chairman Shiv Nadar on Monday told schoolchildren that learning Hindi would immensely help them in future.
He said, “Hindi language is spoken not just in Indian states. It is understood by people in different countries as Indians are everywhere. This would help you when you go to other countries,” Shiv Nadar said while speaking after receiving the global educationist award given to him by his alma mater, St Joseph’s College Higher Secondary School, here.
He lauded the school, where he studied for four years, for supporting people from different faiths
“Remaining competitive and focused in class got me good marks. But we never distinguished each other based on caste or religion,” he said.
