VADODARA: Students of Changa-based Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT) in Anand have their mark at the two days state level conference of Student Nurses Association (SNA) which was organized at Gandhinagar.
A total of 23 students from Manikaka Topawala Institute of Nursing, a constituent institute of CHARUSAT had participated at the state level conference of SNA that was organized by C M Patel College of Nursing, Gandhinagar.
Around 98 nursing institute from across Gujarat had taken part in this competition.
Students of Manikaka Topawala Institute of Nursing bagged eight prizes in different categories. While students - Dharti Patel, Bhakti Patel and Dhruvika Patel got first prize in 100 metres race, disc throw and poster presentation respectively, Ritu Patel got second prize in rangoli and Avni Patel and group got second prize in health education.
Similarly, Ripal Patel got third prize in 100 metres race and Brijesh Patel got third prize in javelin and disc throw.
CHARUSAT’s provost Dr B G Patel has congratulated all the winners for proving their potential in extra curriculum along with academics.
“These achievements are result of hard work put in by our students and the continuous support from their instructors and mentors,” principal of Manikaka Topawala Institute of Nursing Anil Sharma said.
