DPR for Bengaluru-Vijayawada corridor soon

VISAKHAPATNAM: Union road transport and highways minister Nitin Gadkari, in reply to a query raised by YSRC MP V Vijayasai Reddy, said the Centre has sanctioned 3,183 crore for the 99.63km Visakhapatnam -Raipur six-lane national highway.
He also informed that construction of five greenfield corridors under Bharatmala Pariyojana’s first phase has been taken up and the government aims to complete the corridors by 2026-27.
Of the five, DPR preparation process has begun for the 343km Bengaluru-Vijayawada corridor.
