The first-ever Bali Yatra in the UK was appreciated by all. It was a result of the tireless efforts of the Odia Society, led by Partha Panda and his team. The event featured a mesmerising performance by choreographer Avirup Sengupta, accompanied by his students Aditri and Raina. Avirup also performed with the others, showcasing his commitment to inclusivity.
His performances, including Mangalacharan and Durga Stuti, left the audience in awe. It was a group choreography with local participation, featuring his student Raina Roy, on the beautiful Odia song Kahi Gale Mourali Funka, and a soulful rendition of Rabindranath Tagore's song Aja Sakhi Muhu Muhu, both of which were particularly impressive.
