’ way back in 2011, they soon became one of the much-loved pairs in the industry. Now, the popular jodi is all set to star together again in Birsa Dasgupta's upcoming drama ‘Crisscross’.

The hit pair made their big screen debut in the 2012 romantic-comedy ‘Bapi Bari Ja’. Pupe and Gora subsequently became household names after featuring together in ‘Gaaner Oparey’.

's novel about several lives getting intertwined, ‘Crisscross’ also has an ensemble cast of Nusrat Jahan, Jaya Ahsan, Sohini Sarkar, Priyanka Sarkar, Riddhima Ghosh and others.

Birsa Dasgupta’s narrative for his upcoming film aims to analyze the individual lives of 5 women, who believe in different ways of life that contradict each other’s ideology. Their individual, yet interconnected crisis and social status build the crux of the plot.
