, to resume from the last week of February. The shoot will be held at different places in and Puri and Bhubaneswar.
The shooting of the film had to be postponed indefinitely In March last year after the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic allover the world. By that time, around 50 percent of the shoot was over.
The team recently conducted a puja of the script on Basanti Panchami, as they decided the dates for restarting the shoot. “We held a small puja to seek divine intervention. The shoot of the songs will be held in the first phase from February 24 and it would be followed by shoot for the film from March 3. All the cast and crew remain the same,” informed
Joyeeta Roy
, who is the creative head of the project.
Shooting of this Joyte Das- directorial was supposed to resume in July last year targeting Dussehra release. But it couldn’t start due to various reason and most importantly the fear of Coronavirus transmission. Since the situation has improved a lot, the team is planning to go for the shoot again. “We have around 10-15 days shoot left which we will be resuming soon,” said the director.
