“People love stories, and so, here I am,” said Kapoor. The session started with him talking about his connection with Urdu poetry and musical shows, and also saw him sing, recite and discuss poetry.
Screenwriter and actor
Atul Tiwari was the moderator for the session. Talking about Urdu, Kapoor said, “Urdu doesn’t belong to any religion, it is for everyone.” He narrated the tales of Heer-Ranjha and Laila-Majnu, and interacted with the audience in Punjabi mixed with Hindi. “Ab kahin aur koi samjhe ya nahin, Dilliwale toh Punjabi samjhenge,” he joked.”
