Hugh Jackman is back as Wolverine in ‘Logan’ – which marks the end of his portrayal of the Wolverine after sixteen years. The film collected Rs 5 crore on its first Saturday taking the two-day total to Rs 9.25 crore, as reported by Boxofficeindia.com. It had registered a good opening at the domestic box office at around Rs 4.25 crore.
‘Logan’ is the third and the last Wolverine film after the two successful ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ and ‘The Wolverine’ It is the tenth installment in the ‘X-Men’ film series.

Directed by James Mangold, ‘Logan’ introduces another central character Laura or X-23 played by then 11-year-old Dafne Keen. She is shown to possess powers much similar to Logan in the film and has already wowing the audience with her powerful stunts and action scenes.
The film also stars Patrick Stewart, Richard E. Grant, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant and Dafne Keen. The release of the film clashed with Bollywood action film ‘Commando 2: The Black Money Trail’ featuring Vidyut Jamwal and Adah Sharma.
