Recently when we caught up with actor Aparajita Adhya on the sets of Atanu Ghosh���s Badnam for the Shera Sahitya slot, she said, ��� My character in Bajimath is a very interesting one.

Talking about Atanu Ghosh���s venture, Aparajita revealed, ���Atanu is one of my favourite directors. I���ve done serials like Goyenda Parivar and a couple of telefilms with him.
He gives minute attention to details. When he first decided on the script, he approached me for the role of Soudamini and told me that he couldn���t imagine anyone else essaying the part.���
The plot of Badnam revolves around a character called Anil Mittir, a freedom fighter, a policeman and his wife Soudamini. ���I play Soudamini who has a great sense of humour. The story is about how Soudamini helps Anil Mittir in his revolutionary attempts,��� the actor informed. Talking more about period dramas, that are so much in vogue these days, Aparajita said, ���I always loved doing such roles. I think such characters gel well with my looks and in the manner in which I deliver the dialogues.���
