Filmmaker Karan Johar had all eyes on him and his tee as he stepped out on a dinner date with his friends - Gauri Khan and Malaika Arora.
The BFFs spent their Friday night, celebrating KJo's strut down the runway for an event in the city. While the ladies kept their outfits classy and chic, KJo dressed down and opted for a sweatshirt and comfy track pants.
On their way out of the restaurant, to their waiting cars, many couldn't help but notice Karan's white, full-sleeved T-shirt emblazoned with the phrase "Nepo Baby."
The T-shirt immediately drew parallels to Hailey Bieber’s January 2023 outing in Los Angeles, where she wore a cropped “Nepo Baby” tee that also became a talking point amidst the nepotism debate going on in Hollywood. In Bollywood, Karan found himself in the middle of a nepotism debate when Kangana Ranaut called him a 'flagbearer of nepotism' while on his chat show.
Early the same evening, Karan walked the ramp in an all-white ensemble alongside Sidharth Malhotra for the latest edition of a fashion show in the city. The director also showed off his seemingly toned body in a button-down shirt that he left open to also display his statement necklace. His drastic weight loss sparked off social media rumours with many speculating if he was taking the weight loss drug Ozempic. However, KJo had clarified in his Instagram story that his weight loss was the result of "being healthy and eating well”.
