Amruta Subhash recounts husband's support in encouraging nervous co-star for 'Lust Stories 2' intimate scenes

Amruta Subhash, known for her compelling performance in 'Lust Stories 2,' shared intriguing insights during her participation in the Netflix Actors' Roundtable. Reflecting on her role in the Netflix anthology's segment titled 'Mirror,' directed by Konkona Sen Sharma, Amruta Subhash revealed the nervousness she and co-star Shrikant Yadav experienced while filming intimate scenes, given their long-standing friendship.
Amruta Subhash candidly admitted her initial discomfort with the idea of shooting numerous intimate sequences. Expressing her apprehension to Sharma, she requested time to familiarise herself with the demanding scenes, especially considering her real-life friendship with Yadav. She revealed their mutual nervousness, with Yadav expressing doubts about performing such scenes alongside Subhash, whom he had known for many years.
In a heartening turn, Amruta Subhash disclosed her husband's unexpected support in encouraging Yadav. Referring to her conversation with Yadav, she recalled her husband's intervention, reassuring Yadav that he could execute the scenes proficiently. Amruta Subhash humorously recounted her husband's words of encouragement to Yadav, affirming his capabilities to deliver a convincing performance. Her husband told Shrikant, “tu karlega, acche se karlega (you’ll do it well)'”
During the roundtable discussion, Amruta Subhash's lighthearted narration elicited laughter from fellow panelists, including Kajol, Jaydeep Ahlawat, Kareena Kapoor, Tillotama Shome, Sidharth Malhotra, and Sanya Malhotra.
Previously, in a social media post, Amruta had acknowledged Yadav's commendable portrayal as her on-screen husband in 'Lust Stories 2,' garnering praise for his role. Subhash highlighted Yadav's versatility, noting his appearances in projects like 'Jalsa,' 'The Family Man,' and 'Killa,' applauding his acting prowess.
