Big B begins shooting for R Balki's film

After wrapping up the first day of shoot of his much talked about collaboration with R Balki, Amitabh Bachchan took a minute to let everybody in on his chock-a-block schedule: "Tomorrow back to Mumbai and Tv serial shoot ... life is a shoot ! A shoot ? Yaaaaaaa ! Got a problem with that ? Naah, love it (sic) !!," tweeted the septuagenarian.

As Mirror reported (April 18) the actor was shooting with Sarika for his first TV soap being directed by Anurag Kashyap in Mumbai. He drove straight to the airport from the studio where he had been shooting over 50 promos for Kaun Banega Crorepati's upcoming season till the wee hours, and landed in Goa early on Sunday morning for R Balki's untitled film with Dhanush and Akshara Haasan and reported on the sets early in morning.

"Mr Bachchan doesn't wear prosthetics in the film. These are just rumours. He has a straight French-beard and his usual set hair. The reason his make-up took so long is because it was the first day on the film, and he was extremely anxious to get his look right," says a source from the production unit.

He was back in Mumbai on Monday, and resumed the shoot for his TV show. While Bachchan is busy with his acting assignments, wife Jaya is on the campaign trail in Northern India.
