Speaking to Hauterfly, Esha said, "We were not allowed to go to the temple and pray. When it is done, you can wash your hair and then you can pray. That’s just an orthodox way and I follow. I respect it if that’s a part of the house you live in."

Esha also talked about learning sex education in school, saying that her school provided sex education at the right time and emphasized its importance, noting that some parents feel uncomfortable and shy discussing such topics.

Reflecting on her childhood and upbringing, Esha described her grandmother as strict, and the rules she had to follow, such as not wearing spaghetti straps or short skirts when going out. Esha humorously mentioned that her grandmother acted like a CCTV camera in the house, always keeping an eye on who came and went. She shared that her friends would wear a shirt over their outfits when entering the house, only to remove it once they were in her room. She also revealed that late nights were strictly forbidden.
