She said in an interview with News 18, "Salman is a good friend of mine and we have got many opportunities when we could have worked together. But, you know you can see somehow it never came together."

Earlier, during the trailer launch 'Emergency', Kangana had talked about Salman. Kangana had said that if you look at Salman ji, how much fan following he has, how much people love him. I think he is the top most, most liked star in the country right now. People who love him, love him. Now, people who don't like him will hate him. We want to be in his place or why is he in that place, then in this way he will be disliked in the eyes of the people.

Meanwhile,Kangana has often said in many interviews and even on her social media that she has often rejected movies with Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, as she felt that the role of the actress in it was just a mere prop. The actress said that as she has always promoted women empowerment, she would not just do a film for the sake of sharing screen space with someone if the role of the actress doesn't have much meat.
'Emergency' is set to release on January 17.
