Kartik Aaryan recently recreated a memorable moment from the iconic film 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' (DDLJ) with Vidya Balan, adding a humorous twist to the classic train scene. This playful homage has captured the attention of fans, especially as it ties into the promotion of his upcoming film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'.
On Friday, Kartik Aaryan shared an entertaining Instagram Reel where he and Vidya Balan reenacted the beloved train scene from 'DDLJ'. In the original film, Shah Rukh Khan's character famously stretches out his arms as he runs towards a departing train, symbolizing love and longing. In this modern remake, however, things take a comical turn.
As Kartik approaches the train, he calls out to “Manju” Manjulika, the spirit character portrayed by Vidya Balan. Suddenly, she playfully grabs him by the throat and pulls him inside the train. The actor humorously captioned the video: “Manju - 1 Rooh Baba - 0 I took a train to not be scared of turbulence But the turbulence decided to come along #RoohBabaVsManjulika This Diwali. #BhoolBhulaiyaa3”. This playful banter not only showcases their chemistry but also highlights Aaryan's knack for comedy.
The anticipation for 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' is palpable, especially following the release of its trailer. The film features an ensemble cast including Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri alongside Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan. Madhuri's involvement has particularly excited fans as she takes on a significant role alongside Vidya Balan's Manjulika.
In this installment, Kartik reprises his role as Rooh Baba, who encounters double trouble with two versions of Manjulika—one played by Balan and the other by Dixit. This setup and speculation about an exciting dance-off between these two legendary actresses, has further heightened audience expectations.
Set for release on November 1, 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' will face stiff competition at the box office as it coincides with Rohit Shetty’s multi-starrer 'Singham Again'. Both films are expected to draw significant audiences during the Diwali holiday season.
