Talking about her role in Sedin Dujone, Kanchana says, ���This is the first commercial venture where I have been cast in the lead. In the film I play the role of a psychiatrist whose father owns a hospital.

Actor Biplab Chatterjee is cast in the role of my father.
Amitabha Bhattacharya who plays Raj in the film, is admitted to the hospital after he suffers a terrible shock. The girl tries to cure him and eventually falls in love with him.��� But is the story somewhat on the lines of Deep Jela Jai? To this Kanchana quips, ���Though it might sound somewhat similar but it���s certainly not a remake of the old classic.���
Then again moving over to her future projects Kanchana says, ��� There are a couple of films I���ve zeroed in on but nothing has been finalised yet. But if everything���s good I���ll start shooting by the end of the next month.���
