Poonam Dhillon says people did not laugh when she fell while walking the ramp

While pictures of her tripping on her sari and falling on the ramp went viral, actress Poonam Dhillon feels that the people on the contrary were quite kind towards her and did not laugh at her.

She said, “Nowadays you have these small ball like latkans on the border of your saree and the pallu is kept longer when you are walking the ramp. Also, you can’t look down when you walk the ramp.So when I started walking these balls went under my feet and it became a roller skate for me. I could not manage and fell.

"The whole incident created a huge noise and was blown out of proportion in media and on internet but I think 99 percent had a very positive reaction to it. You can fall anywhere and hurt yourself. The only difference was that this happened under public glare.”
Poonam Dhillon had participated in a fashion show for charity and she had tripped over her sari on the ramp while waving to the crowds recently.
