A contract worth Rs 25 lakh was made to kill actor Salman Khan near his Panvel farmhouse, and the Lawrence Bishnoi gang is believed to be behind it. This was mentioned in the chargesheet filed by the Navi Mumbai police regarding the case.
The conspiracy was apparently hatched between August last year and April 2024 and plans were made to buy weapons like Ak 47, AK 92 and M16 from Pakistan and Zigana pistol which was used to kill Sidhu Moosewala.
The reason to buy high weapons as the actor was moving around with high security and a bullet proof. Sukha, who was arrested from Haryana early this week, was the one talking to arms dealer and had assigned Ajay Kashyap to target Salman Khan.

It is also learnt that quite a few people were keeping an eye to the actor’s movement in the city. The shooters had planned an escape route to Kanyakumari and then would flee to Srilanka.
Salman Khan is set to shoot Bigg Boss 18's Weekend Ka Vaar tomorrow (October 18). Sources told ETimes that security around the set is extremely tight, with strict monitoring in place. No one is allowed to stop or linger near the set to ensure the actor's safety.
