Shekhar Kapur’s daughter Kaveri and Vardhan Puri shoot for Kunal Kohli's film in London

Producer-director Kunal Kohli has begun shooting for his film that stars Shekhar Kapur's daughter Kaveri in London. When contacted Kunal Kohli confirmed and said, “Yes I am launching Kaveri Kapur but I cannot reveal any more details about the film.”
Amrish Puri's grandson Vardhan Puri has been cast opposite her and both of them are currently shooting in London. Kaveri is also a singer so there is a chance that she will be doing playback for herself. A source said, “It is a love story, so songs are bound to be there but Kaveri as a singer, so that could probably be the surprise element of the film.”

Kaveri's father Shekhar Kapur lives in London and has directed her in a music video ‘Smell of the Rain’. The filmmaker had posted an emotional note on Instagram after the shooting and wrote, “Discovering hidden nuances in Kaveri’s expressions .. in her determined nuances .. And then as we finished the shoot .. Kaveri came and hugged me and said ‘Thank you Daddy for letting me be me’
I quietly cried. My daughter had grown up. And was ready to leave and find her own destiny.”
