Bollywood has been witness to several messy break-ups and divorces. It has been noticed more than once that partners initially point fingers at each other for their failed relationships, only to later realize there was more to their broken bond than what met the eye. The recent revelation made by Seema Sajdeh, echoed similar sentiments.
Seema Sajdeh has made peace with her divorce
‘Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives’ fame Seema Sajdeh separated from Bollywood actor-producer
Sohail Khan in 2022. Seema, who reportedly has moved on and is in a romantic relationship with someone, recently, in an interview, admitted that earlier she used to blame Sohail for their broken marriage.
In her conversation with Janice Sequeira, she admitted that now she is at peace with her divorce and understands that separation sometimes can be tougher on men, as women often are better at handling emotional challenges.
Weighing on how a toxic relationship can leave scars on the entire family, Seema shared, “When you’re in a marriage where you’re constantly bickering and at each other, you’re not giving your 100% to your kids also. They’re losing out. Seeing this irritable parent in the house, the atmosphere is tense, you can literally cut it with a knife because it’s so thick."

“An affair is not a deal-breaker,” Seema Sajdeh
In the same conversation, she spoke about infidelity and shared that cheating doesn’t always mean the end of a relationship for her. “I’m saying honestly, an affair is not a deal-breaker. We are human. You grow from it. And it also depends on what type of affair it was. Even if you’re thinking about someone, you’ve anyway cheated.” she said.
The deal-breaker actually is to see how the two of you are going through life. Life is short, live it and be happy. Laughter is the best medicine, and the day you stop laughing together, it’s over," continued Seema.
Further, while speaking on the healing process, the road that is difficult but must be taken, she shared, one should be able to like that person again and not hold on to hatred. And then she admitted, “You tend to get so complacent in a marriage. At that time, if you’d asked me, I would’ve blamed everything on him."
Seema Sajdeh and Sohail Khan got married in 1998 and share two sons, Nirvaan and Yohan. After their separation, Seema has chosen to prioritise her role as a mother. She now focuses on spending quality time with her children, ensuring they grow up in a loving and emotionally healthy environment.
