Sumeet Vyas gives a quirky touch to his wedding invite

Celebrity weddings have been the flavour of 2018, and now, another couple is all set to join the bandwagon. The ‘Veere Di Wedding’ actor, Sumeet Vyas, is tying the knot with his ladylove, Ekta Kaul, today. Though the marriage, being held in Jammu, is a traditional ceremony, there is a quirky twist in the wedding invite.
We caught up with Sumeet to find out more about the invitation card and whether it is a reflection of their love story.He shares, “It is a reflection of me, actually. I didn’t want it to be a regular, boring card with a lot of details, but a quirky, yet simple one. Ekta ideated, the designers sent us a few designs and we jointly decided to go ahead with this. Being the writer, I came up with the content.”
With such an unconventional start to the celebrations, can we expect more quirk coming up during the actual ceremony? The actor replies, “It is a very simple wedding with Hindu rituals. In fact, it is as traditional as a traditional wedding can get. The pre-wedding functions include the mehendi and sangeet.”
