Swara Bhaskar to shoot in Prayagraj in March

With film shoots gaining pace and filmmakers travelling to real locations for shooting, the camera is all set to roll in Prayagraj.
Film Jahan Chaar Yaar, directed by writer turned director Kamal Pandey, and produced by Vinod Bachchan, will go on the floors in the first week of March. The film has Swara Bhaskar, Meher Vij of Secret Superstar and Bajarangi Bhaijaan fame, Pooja Chopra, seen in films like Aiyaary and Veere Di Wedding actress Shikha Talsania, in important roles.Actor Girish Kulkarni will also be seen in the film.

“During the one month schedule, beginning from the first week of March, we will be shooting in Prayagraj, Lucknow, Malihabad and Jaunpur,” informs producer Vinod Bachchan.

Further revealing about the film, the debutant director Kamal Pandey, who has penned films like Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns, says, “It is a dark comedy that revolves around four women who hail from small towns of Uttar Pradesh. These women have reached that stage of their lives where their children have grown up and have a life of their own. Even their husbands’ are busy in their professions, so loneliness has set into their lives. We see a lot of such characters around us."

Pandey, a pass out of University of Allahabad, was recently in Prayagraj for a recce. “We have identified some places in the city, including a few buildings in the Lukerganj area for the shooting,” informs the director.
