'The Wedding Guest' trailer: Dev Patel crashes the wedding and kidnaps the bride Radhika Apte

Versatile actors Dev Patel and Radhika Apte share the screen for the first time in the upcoming film 'The Wedding Guest' that sees them on a run from Pakistan to India. The gasping trailer shows a mysterious man Jay (played by Dev Patel) who kidnaps a bride from Pakistan named Sameera (played by Radhika Apte), who travel to India illegally.
Jay is a man with secrets, who's past is not revealed in the trailer, travels from Britain to Pakistan.He crashes at a wedding and kidnaps the bride in her sleep at the gunpoint but then things turn around when both of them develop an unusual relationship. Both the characters are on a run across the two countries as the trailer progress through several Indian locations.

The film is directed by Michael Winterbottom, who is known for his films 'A Mighty Heart' and 'Trishna' which were filmed in Pakistan and India respectively. The director has also penned the screenplay for the thriller. Co-starring Jim Sarbh, the film hits American theatres on March 1. The film was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival last year.
