Before tying the knot with Abhishek Bachchan in 2007, Aishwarya Rai shared the screen with his legendary father, Amitabh Bachchan, in the romantic drama Kyun Ho Gaya Na. While the film featured Vivek Oberoi as the lead opposite Aishwarya, Big B made a memorable cameo, adding a touch of star power to the love story.

Before its release 20 years ago, Amitabh expressed disappointment about his cameo role as Aishwarya Rai's uncle in Kyun Ho Gaya Na. He felt the role was minimal, as he played a man in charge of an orphanage. However, he appreciated the opportunity to interact with children, making the experience more enjoyable, marking his first such role since Mr Natwarlal.



Mr Bachchan praised Aishwarya, calling her exceptionally beautiful and highlighting her performance in Kyun Ho Gaya Na. He noted that both he and Jaya admire her talent and suggested she take on more mature roles. When asked about Vivek Oberoi, he mentioned they had a brief working relationship during a 20-day shoot in Coorg. Bachchan emphasized that he enjoys working with all his co-stars, creating a joyful atmosphere on set.
