Suzanne Bernert &Narendra Jha in Samvidhaan

Rajya Sabha TV ‘s ten part mini series based on the making of the Indian Constitution, titled Samvidhaan, is doing the rounds these days.
The series, directed by Shyam Benegal, has renowned actors like Ila Arun, Sachin Khedekar, Dalip Tahil , Anjan Srivastava, Mohit Chauhan, Utkarsh Majumdar, Divya Dutta, Rajeshwari Sachdev, Tom Alter, Rajendra Gupta, K K Raina, Rajit Kapur, Harish Patel and Kennith Desai in major roles and the actors are feeling proud with the association.
With the progress of the shoot which is taking place in Filmcity, the cast list of the show is getting longer. Now, the latest to join the bandwagon are foreign actress Suzanne Bernert and veteran actor Narendra Jha.
Suzzane will essay the role of a journalist while Narendra Jha will essay the role of Jinha, leader of the all Muslim league until Pakistan’s independence.
When contacted, Suzanne confirmed, “ I always wanted to work with the legendary Shyam Benegal and just because of this show that’s possible. I am thankful. I never played a journalist but for Shyam Babu I am ready to stand in a crowd.”
Narendra Jha remained unavailable for the comment.
The show is expected to go on air early next year (2014).
