Benkipatna

Set in Benki Patna, the film deals with village politics, market committee elections, rivalry and romance. Scent Hanumanthu (Prathap Narayan) and Pani (Anushri) are deeply in love, though they're poles apart. While Hanumanthu is a happy-go-lucky, innocent village lad, a contrasting Pani is bold and not afraid to speak her mind. Hanumanthu, who's an employee of the local municipality, learns a thing or two from her. In a parallel track, we're introduced to Limba Rama (Prakash Belawadi) and Pete Siddanna (Manjunatha Gowda), who're contesting the elections to the local agricultural market committee. Kathle Shiva, who works for Limba, is Pani's enemy.
