Ashika Rangantha's ninth film 'Raymo' is going to be her first full-fledged love drama film and her first collaboration with director Pawan Wadeyar. The film is in making for a long time due to Covid restrictions and finally has managed to be in the news after its grand launch.
Coming from a non-film background, Ashika always saw that she worked with the best of the technicians in the industry, and Pawan Wadeyar is one of the directors on her list. Ever since she saw Pawan Wadeyar's 'Googly', she's been waiting to work with the director. Talking to the media reportedly, Ashika, who is doing a full-fledged love story for the first time, feels that the love story gives the heroine an equal role and feels the script of 'Raymo' itself is going to be very unique.
Ashika bagging the role in the film is all because of Pawan Wadeyar seeing the innocence in Ashika's face which suits the character she plays and this made Ashika quite relieved as 50% of the job is done when the director feels he has got the right actor for the role. Moreover, Ashika plays the role of Mohana, a singer with whom she can relate and she didn't find it difficult doing this role. Ashika is quite confident that the audience will see a new Ashika through 'Raymo'.
So far Ashika had worked with experienced actors but for first time she is acting with one film old Ishan. The experience was quite different as Ashika was used to being made comfortable by other heroes but with Ishan it was reverse as she took time to build a rapport and friendship with Ishan to see that chemistry on the screen is visible and helped a lot in pulling off intimate scenes without any hesitation for the love story.
