A forest teeming with life — that’s the image director Chandramohan sought to create, not just on screen, but on set, for his ensemble film Forest. “With so many actors sharing the screen, I wanted to foster a camaraderie that would make my job easier,” he says. The film, described as a treasure heist thriller, stars Chikkanna, Aniissh Tejeshwar, Gurunandan, Sharanya Shetty, Archana Kottige, and Rangayana Raghu . The trailer, which was released on Friday, is already generating considerable online interest.
Chandramohan, whose previous film was Brahmachari, explains, “We’ve woven together nature, mystery, and adventure with touches of comedy.” Shot in realistic locales of Madikeri and Male Mahadeshwara Hills, the film also features Suraj Pops (known for his role in Jailer) and Sunil Kumar (Stree 2) as antagonists.
