While the
Yash and
Kriti Kharbanda starrer, Googly, might have been able to impress the audience and attract the crowd to the theatres, there is one person associated with the film who hasn’t seen the film yet – Jayanna, the producer. It is surprising but true that the producer hasn’t seen the film, and he is candid enough to admit the same.
“I don’t watch films much and I haven’t watched Googly so far,” says the filmmaker who rarely visits the theatres adding, “I haven’t even watched Paramathma and
Arjun, the films which had produced earlier.
I watched Mungaru Male when it was telecasted on TV. My last film at the theatres was Life Of Pi and before that, Naanu Nanna Kanasu. Both the times I went with my family members at the insistence of my daughter.”
But Jayanna, who happens to be one of the biggest distributors of Kannada films, does watch films on television if time permits. “I hardly get time off from work to head to the theatre, so I catch up on films on TV whenever I can. But usually I do not watch my own films,” he says.
