Actor
Pramod seems to be on a roll as he reaps all the rewards for the recent successes. His performance in '
Rathnan Prapancha
' as the quirky Udaal Babu Rao won him a lot of praise and to make things better, he now has an array of exciting films ahead. One such project is a youthful entertainer bankrolled by
Shruti Naidu
who has previously made the 2019 comedy drame '
Premier Padmini
'.
Starring
Jaggesh, Madhoo Shah, Sudharani, and others, 'Premier Padmini' was directed by Ramesh Indira - Pramod starred in the film as Driver Nanjundi. The film marked former actor Shruti Naidu's debut as a film producer.

Speaking to an online daily recently, Shruti Naidu shared that the upcoming film will feature Pramod in a full-fledged lead role with Ramesh Indira at the helm of things. The latter has also penned the script and the entire team is, reportedly, quite keen on getting things underway. Shruti Naidu would also add that while the script stays ready, the team is currently assessing things with respect to Covid and hopefully take the film on floors mid-2022.
Reportedly, the yet-untitled project is a bonafide youthful entertainer akin to films like 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' and some of the other quintessential Bollywood romances which, according to Shruti Naidu, have somehow faded away over the years. Ramesh Indira's script, she adds, accomodates all such commercial elements and yet will feature a solid storyline. The film's leading lady is yet to be finalized.
